OnePlus Open Android update status
Currently: Android 16
When OnePlus Open launched, it shipped with Android 13, but has since been updated to Android 16 (7 Nov 2025). This phone was originally released on 10 / 2023.
Upcoming updates?
Expected: Android 17 (last version ever)
OnePlus has promised that OnePlus Open will get Android 17. However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - OnePlus might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
Based on what we currently know, the expected Android 17 will be the last Android update for OnePlus Open. After this update, the device might get security patches, but wont get any new major Android versions to it.
