Android 11 Update Tracker
Android 11 was released publicly on September 6, 2020. It succeeded Android 10 and was immediately made available to most Google's own Pixel phone models.
One of the biggest new features in Android 11 was the new notification style for conversations. All notifications deemed conversational were bundled together in Android's notification area. Android 11 also improved Android's app permissions significantly and made it easier for users to grant permissions to apps for one-time use only, rather than granting permanent rights to specific features (such as microphone).
