Android 16 Update Tracker
Android 16 was announced on 18th of November, 2024 when also the first Developer Preview version of the operating system was released to selected Google Pixel models. It was the first major Android version to alter the ongoing once-a-year release schedule and the consumer-ready Android 16 is expected to be released in Q2/2024 (before end of June, 2024).
As Android 16 hasn't been officially released yet, we list only the phones that are expected to get the operating system after its release. This information is based on manufacturers' official promises and also, partly, on historical performance on how they upgrade their devices.
