When Google Pixel 9 Pro XL launched, it shipped with Android 14, but has since been updated to Android 15 (15 Oct 2024). This phone was originally released on 8 / 2024.
Upcoming updates?
Expected: Android 16, Android 17, Android 18, Android 19, Android 20, Android 21 and Android 22
Google has promised to deliver these major Android versions for Google Pixel 9 Pro XL: Android 16, Android 17, Android 18, Android 19, Android 20, Android 21 and Android 22.
However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Google might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
