Android 10 Update Tracker
Android 10 was officially released on September 3, 2020. Before its launch, it was widely known as Android Q, as Google had maintained the letter-ordering tradition for naming Android versions up until that point. Thus, Android 10 was the first Android version to abandon the old dessert-based, alphabetical Android naming convention. It was succeeded by Android 11 in September, 2021.
Most visible major change in Android 10 was the introduction of the system-wide dark theme, which allowed the entire Android to be switched to use darker design.
